A joint Board of Supervisors/Planning Commission meeting is also scheduled for Wednesday, May 5 at 6:00 p.m., in the Government Center. You are welcome to attend and listen to the discussion, or you can watch it via the live web cast.

Civic Association Meeting—May 12 at 7:00

Congratulations to our newly elected Board members—Carol Kearney (President), Eric DeJonghe (Vice-President), Bob Kloman (Secretary) & Rob Gehrke (Treasurer).  Thank you to these residents for volunteering to be actively involved in our community.  Plan to attend our next monthly Civic Association meeting on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:00.  We meet the second Wednesday of each month at Galilee Methodist Church.

Calling All Volunteers!  Community Picnic—June 12

This can’t happen without the help of YOU!  There is an urgent need for volunteers to contact area businesses to ask for their support of this annual event. Community Scholarship

The deadline is fast approaching—April 30!  If you are a graduating Broad Run Farms high school senior, then you are encouraged to apply for this community scholarship for your continuing education.  The forms can be obtained at broadrunfarms.org and mailed to Mary Lowery (20112 Youngs Cliff Road).  Questions?  Contact Mary Lowery at

Dues—It’s time to pay your 2010 dues!

You can soon again pay the annual $50 dues via PayPal on the BRFCA website at broadrunfarms.org - currently we arre addressing an issue with our paypal account.  You can also bring it to the monthly meeting or to the community picnic.  As a 501C (3) entity, your annual dues are tax deductible.
